Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for providing physical therapy treatment to patients and fulfill all other responsibilities of a physical therapists for those patients maintaining safety throughout.
• Responsible for supervision of PT staff clinically as well as monitoring personal schedule to ensure efficient delivery of services.
• Responsible for directing and monitoring care for patients receiving physical therapy at select sites including supervision of physical therapy assistant (PTA), tech/aide, and students as applicable.
• Responsible for heading the wellness program and ensuring successful participation of clients.
• Responsible for transition of wellness clients to maintenance wellness aspect of program as need arises.
• Responsible for representation of the outpatient brand and ensuring a great client experience.
• Responsible for understanding the monthly and quarterly benchmarks set by management and assisting clinic manager to achieve these goals as able.
• Responsible for timely, accurate documentation of services rendered according to billing protocol.
• Responsible for justifying through documentation that care being provided meets all Federal and local guidelines for providing skilled care as well as our best practices.
• Responsible for assisting clinic manager with customer service – external (physicians, providers, etc.)
• Responsible for educating facility/staff/wellness clients on in-service topics as needs arise.
• Responsible for attending staff meetings to participate in conversation about schedule and patient care.
• Responsible for monitoring personal schedule to ensure efficient delivery of services

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher).
• Ability to identify problems and to propose feasible solutions with a “can-do attitude”
• Interpersonal/human relations skills.
• Knowledge of company’s policies and procedures.
• Ability to enter and maintain accurate data in various company software programs.
• Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
• Proficient telephone skills.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills

Physical Requirements

• Sits, stands, bends:, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds, carry 25 pounds.
• Subject to hostile and emotionally upset patients, family members, personnel, and visitors.
• Subject to exercising patients; walking with patients.
• Must be able to assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Subject to falls, bumps from equipment, odors, assaults from hostile patients, etc., throughout the workday.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and hear the English language.
• Subject to be involved with patients, personnel, visitors, etc., under all conditions and circumstances.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, patients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
