Under the general supervision of the Dean of University Transfer Liberal Arts and in collaboration with other faculty, the World Language Instructor will teach in the University Transfer Liberal Arts associate degrees and provide general education for occupational associate degrees and technical diploma programs.
This position provides instruction in Spanish for both transfer and occupational programs while also monitoring local need for other languages (e.
g., those of tribal partners) and collaborates with the Dean to support related coursework. Additionally, this position includes responsibilities of leading the strategic development and operational deployment of global education opportunities and pedagogy, including study abroad (on ground and virtual), global education partnerships, and regional learning opportunities aimed at developing cultural competence and global mindset skills in our students.
The typical teaching assignment associated with the remote study portions of the position will be four to five four credit sections of Spanish I and Spanish II, global education leadership, and professional service to the College over three academic terms (fall, spring, and summer).
Responsibilities will be both online and at the Rhinelander Campus and designated outreach locations, including sovereign tribal communities.
Faculty maintain availability to students, develop and maintain curriculum and programs, and actively participate in the diverse communities served by the College.

Required Qualifications : Master’s degree or higher in the Language being taught.

Compensation :
The typical starting salary range is $ 64,105 to $92,853 per year. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
