Nidecker Group is Hiring a [LUS] Sales Manager Near Seattle, WA
Seattle-based Low Pressure Studio, home to some of the leading brands in the snowboard industry, is looking for a full-time Sales Manager to join our expanding team. Providing high quality service to our retail partners and end-consumers is an essential part of our company and we take pride in our commitment to this aspect of the business. The Sales Manager will manage all activities related to our B2B business for the Nidecker brand in the US and Canada, report directly to the Managing Director of LPS NA and work out of our Seattle Office. Tasks Sales Responsibilities:
Drive sales by developing and implementing a business plan that aligns with brand direction, market positioning and subsidiary growth strategy while protecting margin, growing revenue and activating expense controls
Responsible for Sales Rep territories, contracts and forecasting of rep needs annually
Analyze each territory per brand per season and set sales targets accordingly. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Conduct market research to identify consumer preferences, emerging trends, and potential opportunities for product development or sales strategies.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in untapped markets or with potential wholesale partners. Develop and execute strategies to expand the customer base and drive sales growth.
Monitor North American pre-books, sell-thru, FATS, ATS and inventory levels
Network with potential customers, showcase new products, and generate leads to expand the wholesale sales pipeline.
Schedule and lead line showings with key retail partners in Seattle showroom.
Sales Management Responsibilities:
Be a direct report and provide daily management and support for in-house sales team
Manage a team of 6 independent Sales Reps for Nidecker brand in US and CAD
Daily emphasis on coaching and development of sales reps to integrate digital products into custom sales solutions based on customer needs.
Oversee and schedule in-house and independent sales crew at sales meetings and industry trade shows, both regional and national. Attend regional and national tradeshows as time and budget allow.
Motivate retailers and reps with order creation and utilization of B2B Elastic resource and other digital tools as it relates to ATS, Warranty submission and other customer relationship initiatives.
Collaborate with Managing Dir on sales meetings and tradeshow staffing and attendance including Interlude, regional shows and other shows as needed
Cross Functional Sales Responsibilities:
Collaborate with HQ and internal teams, including management and finance, to determine competitive pricing strategies and suggest pricing for Wholesale and Retail customers. Ensure pricing and terms are aligned with company goals and profitability.
Work closely with the North American Digital sales department creating wholesale and sample order-forms. Set-up and implement digital sales campaigns thru our B2B ordering software Elastic.
Work with Operations team to ensure accuracy of real-time inventory across all brands and categories through our B2B and B2C channels. Help with Sales Ops when needed to manage returns and warehouse compliance including all Vendor Guidelines as outlined by retail partners.
Support Finance with credit clearance and act as liaison between retailer, Sales Rep and LPS in AR Mgmt.
Work closely with Marketing to create the “sales and marketing” regional budgets and evaluate the effectiveness of the investments done in each region.
Collaborate with HQ to provide product and sales forecasts by category
B2B Sell-Thru Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Nidecker Marketing Team and Brand Director to create sales strategy in-line with the Brand direction.
Provide POP management and in-store marketing plans for Retailers and Sales Reps to include but not limited to: window vinyl, window displays, in-store buildouts, in-store branding, giveaway items
Oversee any in-store promotions, sales contests, giveaways for NA market, specifically utilizing ENDVR program and others
RequirementsIdeal Candidate Qualifications:
7 years in Sales Management in winter sports, action sports or related field
Demonstrated talent to build and lead a diverse team
Experience in business development, strategic planning, new product launch
Deep understanding of the wholesale brick & mortar and digital sales landscape
Well connected with buyers and decision-makers of key retailers across the US and Canada
Organized with the ability to multi task and problem solve creatively
Analytical and data-driven skillset paired with outgoing, sales-friendly personality. Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with in-house crew and wholesale partners. Good vibes only!
Detail oriented with the ability to juggle multiple requests at any given time
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, V-Lookup and spreadsheet manipulation
Experience with Netsuite or Elastic a major plus
Flexible schedule to meet increased demand of the business during peak season (winter)
Ability to lift 15-50 lbs and willingness to work in varying locations and weather conditions including the mountains. Ability to sit in front of computer for long periods of time.
In-office required, a remote role will not be considered
Must be a competent snowboarder with a passion for riding.

Compensation Range:
Open role for Low Pressure Sales Manager will be compensated from $70,000 - $92,000. If experience exceeds this role and range, considerations can be made.
