Nikkiso ACD is an engineering and manufacturing company specializing in machinery designed to operate at cryogenic temperatures as low as – 420 degrees Fahrenheit, the boiling point of Liquid hydrogen. For over 50 years, Nikkiso ACD has specialized in centrifugal and reciprocating pumps as well as turbines for air separation. Nikkiso ACD has the most diversified product line in the industry covering nearly every application requiring pumps or turboexpanders.
This position is based at Nikkiso ACD located in Santa Ana, CA.
Job Overview Position Summary The Engineering Data Configuration Specialist will conduct reviews, audits, and monitor process improvements as well as identifying potential critical activities. They will implement and develop trainings to address system gaps and will partner with Data Analysts to develop dashboards to show overall ECNs and status. Will also be accountable for performing other administrative tasks as assigned. This role will support Product Center and Man-Fact administration.
Responsibilities Essential Functions
  • Responsible for following through disposition instructions after ECN releases with procurement, production, quality, sales, and service function areas.
  • Works with procurement team to ensure system accuracies. Ensure accuracies with inventories, WIPs, WOs, and POs.
  • Works with production team to ensure system accuracies. Ensure accuracies with BOMs and travelers, and in the MRBs and BON areas.
  • Creates, improves, and implements ECN processes and initiatives to improve efficiencies.
  • Develops dashboards with system analysist to show overall ECNs and status.
  • Coordinates ENC signing off meetings and process improvements.
  • Audits data to ensure system integrity and develops training and enhancements to address gaps identified.
  • Monitors process improvement progress, including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts and progress achieved to date.
  • Conducts reviews and documents resolutions/analyses related to ECN processes.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Process requests by the engineering team for creating new part numbers and updated existing part numbers in Man-Fact.
  • Responsible for releasing new and revised drawings into Product Center and assuring that bills of materials are properly processed into Man-Fact for production.
  • Writing, revising and releasing ISO procedures within Product Center.

Education And Experience
  • Associate degree or relevant education preferred.
  • Work in a manufacturing or industrial services company required.
  • Information systems, purchase order, and customer service experience preferred.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000
