Position Title: Math/Science Teacher Niles High School/Niles New Tech
Immediate Supervisor: Building Principal
Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree
• Certified in the State of Michigan in Biology (DA) 6-12 or Integrated Science (DI) 6-12

Performance Responsibilities (non-prioritized):

• Plans and provides appropriate learning experiences for students on subject matter, utilizingcourse of study adopted by the Board of Education, and other appropriate learning methods
• Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations
• Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments in order to evaluate students' progress
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and provides individualized and small group instruction and varied teaching methods in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student
• Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives
