Niles Park District is Hiring a Zamboni Driver Near Niles, IL
DescriptionThis is a seasonal part-time position that runs September through March.
- Operate the Zamboni machine to resurface the indoor and outdoor ice rinks.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on Zamboni machine to ensure the machine is in proper working condition.
- Monitor ice conditions and make necessary adjustments to the Zamboni settings as needed to maintain optimal ice quality.
- Communicate with rink staff to ensure ice is prepared according to their specificiations.
- Applicants must be flexible and be available to work evening, late nights and weekend shifts.
- Must be 18 years old and possess valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing to work outdoor during the winter season on our outdoor rink.
- Prior ice resurfacing experience is preferred.
