NIMA SPA Floor Instructor/Future Teaching Instructor Looking Full time/Part time

NIMA is seeking to expand our team of talented, well-rounded instructors. This position will be a Spa Floor Instructor that will eventually move into a teaching position and requires strong presentation skills or the ability to be teachable. We are looking for instructors that are passionate, accountable, creative and that absolutely love people. The specific responsibilities for a SPA Floor Instructor: 

• Monitor and oversee all student treatments on the SPA clinic floor; laser setting checks, chemical peel supervision, etc.
• Assist students in consultations for clients regarding a wide variety of aesthetic services.
• Respond to all students needs with a calm, kind, and professional authority.
• Work closely with front desk and students to manage flow of check-in, check-out and charting activities during client appointments.
• Help motivate and teach students sales skills to reach product sales goals!

The requirements for success as a SPA Floor Instructor: 

• License; you must be a licensed Utah State Master Esthetician with a minimum of 1 year of well-rounded esthetics experience. 
• Personality is absolutely critical; you must be outgoing, friendly, good with people, upbeat, positive, have a professional presence and an ability to manage a classroom.
• Driven; much of your success is dependent on your willingness to "Get 'Er Done". Multi-tasking and operating at a fast pace is key!
• Accountability; our environment is driven by meeting our numbers each month; you need to be comfortable and thrive in an environment driven by goals.
• Passion for the aesthetics industry; you need to embrace the positive impact that the aesthetics industry can have on our guests and students. You must have the desire to be a part of a highly skilled team.
• Detailed; you must be organized, structured, good at following protocols and be able to get the details right.
• Flexibility; NIMA is a growing company and our needs constantly change, we need people that are willing to do whatever it takes to meet goals, love having a variety of job responsibilities and think that change is a positive thing.
• A solid presentation style and/or previous training experience is important.

What you don't need to have, but would be helpful: 

• Experience with lasers from multiple manufacturers
• Knowledge of Cosmetic Laser Physics
• A Utah State Esthetics Instructors license (if you don’t have this now, you will be required to get one before teaching)

• Hourly DOE commission
