Responsibilities:

• Further developing and implementing NIO’s legal compliance program in Europe, with focus on risk areas such as anti-bribery and corruption, antitrust, anti-money laundering, trade law and supply chain compliance;
• Developing and enforcing internal policies and corporate values;
• Implementing compliance tools and conducting compliance risk assessments;
• Advising business teams on compliance matters and reviewing new business projects and contracts with customers, suppliers and employees to ensure legal and internal compliance;
• Handling whistleblower reports and compliance incidents;
• Organizing and rolling out compliance training;
• Managing outside counsel support and other external service providers;
• Other activities to support NIO’s legal compliance efforts in Europe.

Qualifications:

• European law degree(s)
• 4 years of work experience; specialized professional experience in competition law, trade law or another compliance risk area is a plus
• Experience in automotive industry is a plus
• Material knowledge of Compliance in Europe
• Ability to manage and complete projects from beginning to end
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of responsibility
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver under tight time constraints
• Good verbal, written and visual communication skills, with attention to detail
• Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus
