Nippon Express Usa Inc is Hiring a Sales Professional Near Jamaica, NY

Our CSHQ (Corporate Sales Headquarters) has an excellent opportunity available for Global Sales Support and Operations. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic, team player that can also work independently in our fast-paced, global sales department. Excellent analytical, interpersonal and organization skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multi-task and calmly handle quickly changing priorities under tight deadlines with great attention to details are essential for success. The position is located at CSHQ ER Location (Jamaica, NY) and reports to CSHQ Supervisor.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Sales Support Functions

  • KPI Reports (Excel skills required) : Develop professional, accurate and timely sales performance reports, customer performance reports, customer presentations, and other reports and presentations as required.
  • Understanding customer’s needs and provide the quality, professional customer service and operations support to new and existing clients.
  • Direct E-Mail and phone interaction on a daily basis with both internal and external parties in support of assigned accounts.
  • Develop Implementation plan and Customer Operating Procedures for new customer business according to the agreed contract and business requirements.
  • Provide administrative and general business support to assigned supervisor and to the CSHQ Global Sales Team as required and assigned.

Process Improvement Functions

  • Teamwork - Must work professionally and effectively with key sales and operations staff worldwide in order to achieve macro target revenue goals.
  • Internal /External communication - Accept feedback willingly; develop and maintain positive working relationships with management, co-workers and customers.
  • Process Improvement - Identify new administrative, sales or operations processes that increase overall team efficiency and enhance professionalism, and make recommendations for implementation to management.

Minimum Requirements: Education, Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

  • Motivation to learn this industry and support.
  • Problem solving skills (find the way to solve the issues)
  • Experience using MS Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Inside or outside sales or customer service experience, or operations experience in the international airfreight/ocean industry preferred.
  • A/B.S. Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Understanding “AS400 & EDI” highly preferred but not required.

Organization Relationships:

Will work with all levels in the organization.

Work Environment:
