NIPS Future Skills is Hiring a Manufacturing Engineer Near Shorter, AL

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVES:

Responsible for manufacturing processes, including quality control, from concept development through to production implementation and continuous improvement as well as on-going production support. . The roles and responsibilities listed are not meant to be all inclusive. The needs of the company may require individuals to perform other functions.

Essential Functions:

1. To support and ensure compliance with Company’s policy

2. Generate machinery and tooling specifications for new and existing projects.

3. Improve work efficiency. - To handle this, analyze work efficiency and downtime.

Based on this result find solution or countermeasure to improve that situation.

4. Generate and maintain line documentation including Process Flow Charts, PFMEA, Control . Plans, Workmanship Standards and check sheets for line members and technicians.

5. Responsible for initiating the procurement processes (i.e. establishing suppliers and possibly obtaining budgetary quotations) for such items.- for the fabrication items, specification should be attached.

6. Responsible for conducting machinery run-off/buy-off's for purchased machinery and tooling. Duties include assuring conformance to specification, evaluating cycle time, assessing safety and ergonomics and conducting process capability studies (Ppk, Cpk) prior to release to production.

7. Cost savings: to save cost, should do one’s best effort. Especially, scrap reduction should be the first priority in normal process. Analyze scrap status and find solution to improve this.

8. Support maintenance department activities for equipment and tooling (i.e. PM schedules, spare part lists, etc.).

9. Participate in continuous improvement activities as they relate to machinery and tooling issues.

10. To handle 9, ask support every related department and/or personnel if needed. Initiate this improvement and if needs investment, make report to Manager.

11. Participate in CFT meetings and support team objectives (i.e. layouts, APQP activities, continuous improvement opportunities etc.)

12. Participate in all required training. And train team members and technicians to level up their skill, Quality mind set and related to improve production status.

13. To support and ensure compliance with Company’s policy

14. Report work result to the Manager, especially 3, 7 items should be reported weekly base.

15. Support and authority for all manufacturing operations as designated, including off shifts.

16. Support and ensure compliance with current quality and environmental systems.

17. Responsible for all stages of Heat Exchanger production.

Competencies:

1. Engineering degree from an accredited university program or equivalent OR

2. 2 or 3 year college diploma with a minimum of 2 years work experience OR

3. Skill for computer such as PowerPoint, auto cad, and communication skill

4. Strong interpersonal skills & ability to work in a team environment.

5. Strong project management skills are an asset.

Travel:

Any Travel requirements (i.e. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected).

Preferred Education and Experience:

Occupational and industry related certifications.
