Title: Purchasing/Logistics Asst. Manager Department: Purchasing Team

Reports to: Director

MAJOR FUNCTION:

1. Conducting material research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.

2. Sourcing materials, goods, products and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.

3. Based on the material stock situation, ensure to review managing material purchasing plan accordingly.

4. Attending new product launches and networking with industry professionals and suppliers.

5. Managing Inventory level and shipping schedule to customers by effective management

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Report monthly purchasing records of each team to Purchasing Director

2. Report price trends of team materials with a graph to Purchasing director quarterly basis

3. Keep the file and data by timely maintaining in creative way to present the current status

4. Ensure to report any delay of materials within a couple of days once the situation happen

5. Generate team purchasing plan for next month

6. Supervising the packaging, shipping and trucking to the customers

7. Coordinate with Korea HQ for raw materials supply chain to be effective.

8. Scheduling and monitoring the shipping truck and delivery to customers

9. Support for production and overall operation by frequent translation and interpretation between expatriates and local production workers

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assumes other duties as assigned by Purchasing Director.

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

1. Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.

2. Relevant experience preferred.

3. Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint).

4. Proficient in appropriate software.

5. Critical thinking and negotiation skills.

6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

7. Occasional domestic and/or international travel.

8. At least five (5) years' experience gained through increasingly responsible positions in office working environment and preferred in manufacturing. Frequent local business travel to implement tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
