What You'll Do
    • This position is for a SeniorProductManagerto developa ProductRoadmap and Business Requirements for a Large e-commerce retailer out of the Bay Area.
    • TheProductManagerwill be tasked with innovating, designing, and facilitating the agile implementation ofproductfeatures to enhance the user experience for multiple brands across Merchandising systems.
    • The ideal candidate will have Product Management experience in Retail Supply Chainmanagement and specifically, Merchandising Systems.
    • The ideal candidate will have a background in retail merchandising systems, with specific experience in price creation and management including regular price, markdown, and promotions. Complexities include pricing rules, approval workflows, and associate discount policy. Experience building business solutions and related UI/UX a plus
    • Product Management is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle, from inception to retirement, of IT products that are delivered to our customers; business associates, and consumers.
    • The job family manages the relationship between WS business functions and IT to provide IT product and user experience solutions to meet the needs of the business.
What You Know
    • Proven experience (minimum 7-10 years) as a Product Manager
    • For projects of diverse scope and complexity
    • Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide product and user experience solutions to meet the business needs
    • Develops high-level business requirements and translates them into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications
    • Prepares requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations
    • Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures
    • Resolves a wide range of issues in innovative and practical ways
    • Strong knowledge of product management best practices, functional design, and application delivery methodology
    • Understands basic project management methodology
    • Customer-focused with high-quality standards
    • Demonstrates strong interpersonal, business communication, and writing skills
    • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
    • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
    • Networks with senior internal and external personnel in their own area of expertise
    • Strong decision-making capabilities will result in meeting schedules and/or functional goals of the department/unit
    • Frequently interacts with customers, and/or functional peer group ICs/managers, normally involving matters between the department and other functional areas or internal customers
    • Regularly participates in a cooperative effort among members of a project team
    • May receive some instruction on day-to-day work, but receives general instructions on new assignments and areas of higher complexity
Education
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Business, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
Compensation Band
    • $140- 145k per year
