Job Description:
The Manufacturing Sales Rep is a challenging and rewarding position at Nitek and is responsible for managing key channel relationships including planning, implementing, and overseeing sales and marketing strategies for key distributor and system integrator partners. The Manufacturing Sales Rep Manager will develop strategies, tools, and campaigns in conjunction with our partners to promote products or services, then analyze the results to optimize Nitek’s approach and positioning.
Essential Functions:
- Identify opportunities and growth areas within existing partner customer base, work with team to develop growth strategies, and execute short term and long-term tactical plans.
- Strengthen and expand existing Nitek partner account relationship with Manufacturing Rep Organizations.
- Ensure partners have thorough understanding of Nitek’s offerings and can effectively communicate Nitek value propositions to end user customers across multiple industries.
- Provide training to increase knowledge of Nitek solution portfolio, build brand awareness, support opportunity development, and stay front of mind.
- Collaborate with Nitek marketing and technical support to develop and execute product promotions, partner enablement and training, and customer campaigns across all platforms.
- Work with internal Nitek marketing services to create compelling custom content for partners, including case studies, battle cards, solution overviews, data sheets, and presentations.
- Participate in joint sales calls with partners to drive end user customer opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and timely information in CRM and routinely review partner pipeline and status.
- Conduct periodic partner business reviews to assess and validate partner needs.
- Remain current and knowledgeable on all products, solutions, and services.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in channel or partner management, sales, and/or account management.
- Experience working in IT, security, facility management electronics and/or similar industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Background in solutions sales with an aptitude for selling technology and or commercial hardware.
- Capable of working independently, prioritizing time on the right projects to maximize results and targeting opportunities based on total potential, profitability, and probability of success.
- Results driven, energetic, and entrepreneurial individual who can work across departments.
- Critical thinker with excellent analytical skills who thrives in a fast moving, hands-on environment.
- Innovative, creative, and team approach to customer engagement, sales campaigns, and marketing who possess strong customer service and client retention skill set.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage campaigns across multiple partners and work streams.
- Ability to translate complex ideas into a simple, compelling message.
- Able to develop and deliver effective sales presentations and product training.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
