Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer who has extensive experience in Infrastructure administration and has knowledge in Data Engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of our Azure-based cloud infrastructure and data solutions. This role requires expertise in cloud architecture, data engineering, and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services. The Cloud Engineer will work closely with our development, operations, and security teams to ensure optimal database performance, reliability, and security.
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
o Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
o Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-efficiency and performance.
o Manage virtual networks, virtual machines, storage accounts, and other Azure services.
o Implement and maintain security best practices, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection.
Data Engineering:
o Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other data engineering tools.
o Create and manage data storage solutions using Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Cosmos DB.
o Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across various data sources and destinations.
o Develop and maintain ETL processes to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
Collaboration and Support:
o Work closely with software developers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide appropriate cloud and data solutions.
o Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving cloud infrastructure and data-related issues.
o Document procedures, configurations, and best practices for cloud and data engineering tasks.
Continuous Improvement:
o Stay updated with the latest Azure services, features, and best practices.
o Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
o Participate in architectural reviews and provide recommendations for optimizing cloud and data solutions
