• CCNP is must, but CCIE candidate would be great.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain advanced datacenter network solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
2. Routing and Switching: Configure and manage routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and technologies such as VXLAN, EVPN, MPLS, and SDWAN.
3. Security: Implement and manage security solutions, including Palo Alto firewalls, VPN, IPsec, and DMZ configurations.
4. Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize Cisco Nexus platforms, particularly Nexus 9ks and 7ks, ensuring they are configured and operating effectively.
5. Cloud Integration: Integrate and manage cloud networking components, ensuring seamless connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
6. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting for network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Exhibit strong problem-solving skills to address complex network challenges.
7. Documentation: Maintain detailed network diagrams, configuration files, and operational procedures.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams and stakeholders to support business initiatives and projects.
9. Communication: Exhibit excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with team members.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center network engineering.

Technical Skills:

1. Routing and Switching: Expertise in BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN, MPLS, SDWAN.
2. Security: Strong experience with Palo Alto firewalls, VPN, IPsec, and DMZ.
3. Cisco Nexus Platforms: Extensive hands-on experience with Nexus 9ks and 7ks.
4. Cloud Infrastructure: Understanding of cloud networking and integration.
5. Other Skills: Familiarity with network management tools and scripting for automation.
6. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
