Nixon & Lindstrom Insurance is seeking to add another Commercial Insurance Service Representative to our team. They will service and manage a commercial lines book of business and aid our sales team in marketing and binding new accounts.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Assist clients with customer service needs by corresponding and communicating via email and phone with clients, producers and insurance carriers.

· Maintain accurate data in the agency management system according to agency procedures.

· Process policy renewals, changes and cancellations.

· Prepare documents for new accounts including certificates, auto ID cards, evidence of insurance.

· Input transactions into Agency Management System to generate billing invoices and ensure that policies are delivered and/or mailed to client in a timely manner.

· Market new and renewal business to appropriate carriers as needed or requested, including preparing complete marketing submissions to the marketing department.

· Other responsibilities include reviewing audits, filing and monitoring open claims, marketing, binding, and bonding.

Preferred Requirements/Experience:

· 2 years of experience in the commercial lines insurance industry, preferably in an agency setting

· Market knowledge of rates, forms and coverage pertaining to commercial insurance accounts

· Missouri Property and Casualty Insurance license preferred.

· Required computer skills include a strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products including Word and Outlook along with the ability to utilize an agency management system.

The work hours are 8:30 - 5:00 weekdays with no evenings or weekends.
