C Software Engineer (Global Market Maker)
Salary: $200-300k
Total Comp: $400-800k (dependent on experience and performance)
I have a partnership with a leading market making firm actively seeking Software Engineers with C expertise to join their high-frequency trading teams in Chicago.
You'll optimize infrastructure and build the trading systems and strategies that must respond to the financial markets in micro/nanoseconds.
Core responsibilities for the role:
- Build and optimize trading systems, infrastructure and tooling
- Collaborate with Traders and Quants to develop trading strategies.
Incredible opportunity to develop (or further) a comprehensive understanding of the trading lifecycle.
While prior financial experience is not mandatory, a keen interest and eagerness to learn about financial markets is essential.
The firm has recently renovated their downtown office creating an innovative environment and a comfortable and social culture.
