The New Jersey Institute for Disabilities is currently recruiting for a Supervisor of Education and Assessment for its Lakeview School, located in Edison, NJ. Lakeview is a premier special education school providing year-round highly specialized services to students between the ages of 3 years to 21 years who represent 50 school districts throughout New Jersey.
Lakeview offers leading-edge innovations in special education and enhancements, such as on-site medical clinics, developmental therapies and a state-of-the-art Aquatic Center.
Lakeview's Supervisor of Education and Assessment is charged with supervising and coordinating the SLE and Career program and assisting in the development and revision of curricula for the school. The Supervisor will advise, update and train staff in the use of instructional materials and program assessment scales.
Supervisor of elementary programs or child study team experience preferred. Solid experience in working with students with multiple developmental, behavioral and intellectual disabilities is a plus.
