l Management:* * Develop and manage annual budgets with the President and Finance Committee. * Prepare and present regular financial reports to the Board of Directors and senior management. * Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger. * Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations. * Coordinate annual audits and tax filings. * Monitor cash flow and financial forecasting to ensure that resources are sufficient to meet the school’s objectives. * Tracks all funds: operational, restricted, and endowment. * Manages all insurance contracts. *Human Resources:* * Manage employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. *Compliance and Risk Management:* * Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. * Develop and maintain policies and procedures to manage organizational risk. * Implement and oversee internal controls and compliance measures. *Board Liaison and Administration* * Attends and provides formal reports to the Board of Directors for quarterly board meetings * Oversees and organizes the Finance Committee meetings and prepares the materials before the meetings and the minutes after the meeting. * Oversees the Investment and Audit Committees. * Ensures that the Board of Directors and the organization carry appropriate and adequate insurance and understand the terms, conditions, and limitations of the insurance coverage - Proven experience with non-profit accounting. - Strong leadership skills - Strategic planning expertise to drive long-term growth - Experience in process improvement to streamline workflows - Financial acumen including proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite This position offers a competitive salary, benefits package, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.
