Responsibilities:

- Assist the Property Manager in daily operations and management of the property
- Handle tenant inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Coordinate maintenance requests and work orders using AppFolio (our computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of tenant information, leases, and contracts
- Assist with property leasing activities, including showing units to prospective tenants and processing applications
- Conduct market research to stay updated on rental rates and competitor properties
- Assist with financial management tasks, such as rent collection and budgeting
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and security deposit refunds
- Assist with marketing efforts, including creating property listings and managing online advertising platforms
- Provide administrative support to the Property Manager, such as scheduling appointments and preparing reports

-Assist tenants with rent payment process.

-Collaborate with Housing reps.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in facilities management or property management is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills, including knowledge of CMMS software (e.g., AppFolio, Yardi, OneSite)

-Ability to lead and collaborate with others
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette
- Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts with tenants or vendors

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
