Responsibilities
- Deliver platforms that meet defined requirements from the Business / Application delivery teams.
- Adheres to corporate policies and provides quality of service for application platform infrastructure.
- Manage multiple priorities and tasks in support of corporate initiatives.
- Continuous development of efficient processes and automation.
- Compliance with Operational Processes: Daily Operations, Change Management & Problem Management
- Mentoring and development of team members to reach their potential.
- Following and documenting processes, ensuring systems meet defined SLA’s and implementing established security standards.
- Leads or participates in (un)planned maintenance outages which are well organized, with effectively communicated goals and executed to meet desired results.
- Performs and reports statistics for team and system health checks at an appropriate frequency.
- Responds to customer/client requirements and develop and/or implement programs or technical solutions to satisfy customer/client requests.
- Adheres to defined service level agreements.
Required Skills and Experience
- A minimum of seven years of experience as a technology manager working in an enterprise IT environment
- Must have experience with performance reviews, hiring, and mentoring a team of technology professionals.
- Seven years of experience working with infrastructure technology
- Must have experience supporting technology in one of the following: OpenShift, Linux or Windows OS
- Must have engineering experience with one of the following, networking, storage, firewalls and load balancing.
