PLEASE NOTE WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES RESIDING IN THE FOLLING STATES: CALIFORNIA, NEW YORK, NORTH CAROLINA, MASSACHUSETTS AND WASHINGTON, D.C.

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for organizing highly complex activities for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of No Typical Moments projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Serve as point person for the project, coordinating activities across product, design, technology, marketing and customer service
  • Ensure team progress by helping to remove obstacles, smooth complexities and support decision making
  • Organize and facilitate project timelines with team, including generating estimates for project complexity and duration
  • Plan and manage key project activities like scoping, planning, QA, launch and communications
  • Responsible for understanding the creative and business goals of each project
  • Coordinate with contractors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Prepare, schedule, setup and run project kick off meetings, reviews, presentations and other meetings as necessary
  • Maintain weekly status report and attend and present project updates in status meetings
  • Create systems to and measure project performance and client happiness
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with clients and all stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain relationships with contractors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Perform administrative functions, such as reviewing or writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, or purchasing of materials or services
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change; manage the process of innovative change effectively
  • Effective project management: apply company methodology, enforce standards, minimize exposure to risk and ensure completion and accurate storage of finished projects
  • Provide professional guidance to assist coworkers in career and leadership development; inspire coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence
  • Participate in development opportunities including training
  • Team management: utilize team members to fullest potential, encourage collaboration, mitigate conflict, foster positive communication, acknowledgement and appreciation
  • Track company lessons learned and share evaluation with team members when appropriate
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Prior project management experience
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Google docs
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working in a virtual capacity and self-managing
  • Understanding of marketing funnels a plus
  • Experience with Teamwork Projects project management software a plus
  • Daytime working hours availability - this is a part time position that will require building hours

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
