About The Team:

The Senior Manufacturing Planner will manage MRP planning and production/work order scheduling. The Senior Manufacturing Planner will also manage the replenishment methods (Kanban and work order) for Manufacturing. This position works closely with Purchasing to ensure assurance of supply for manufacturing while working closely with internal customers (such as Sales and Engineering) to understand downstream demand needs as it relates to materials and manufacturing.

A Day In The Life Of Our Sr. Manufacturing Planner:

• Manage MRP system from approved Sales and Operations Planning to drive demand to appropriate sub-level items for purchases.
• Manage production work order schedules. Responsible for creation, transactions, tracking, reporting and problem solving.
• Guide and manage Materials team to meet goals in Kanban replenishment and ERP transactions.
• Responsible for organizing and communicating internal customer demands as well using the data to understand effects on material and manufacturing capacity.
• Responsible for working with Sales to collect forecast data detail and related this data to production scheduling.
• Strategize with manufacturing and purchasing to grow capacity to meet product demand as products mature. 

About You:

• BA/BS or equivalent
• 7 years of experience with MRP planning, item master management and ERP systems.
• Significant understanding of bills of materials, routings and manufacturing scheduling with work orders.
• Ability to manage/work with materials, personnel and processes to meet GMP standards in a controlled-medical device company. Revision Date: 19Jan2023
• Understanding of Kanban and Demand Flow Technology concepts while utilizing ERP work order transactions. 
• Ability to effectively work cross functionally to successfully meet departmental goals while supporting production schedules.
• Excellent communication, spreadsheet and ERP/MRP skills. 
• Experience leading/supporting Sales and Operations Planning process. Including demand inputs from cross functional teams.
