Job SummaryThe Food & Beverage Administrative assistant is a vital role that handles general office tasks and administrative duties, such as directing communications between colleagues and customers, organizing schedules and events, entering data and maintaining office equipment.
The ideal Administrative Assistant enables our teams to be focused on their goals and prepared for handling a busy F&B operations. It, especially for teams and individuals that have a lot of plates in the air at all times.
Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Food & Beverage management team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to Food & Beverage reservations. Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Update all F&B related information including but not limited to hours of operations, contact information, promotions & activation.
  • Set up, update & maintain F&B software including but not limited to point of sale (Resy, Micros, North Country) recipe and inventory management.
  • Control inventory for office supplies, requisitions same as needed to support operations
  • Completing special projects as assigned by the Director of Food & Beverage & Director of Culinary.
  • Assists other Food and Beverage department teams as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a hospitality or food service setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, terminology, and industry trends is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the role's demands.
