Nobles Group Homes is Hiring a Human Resources Supervisor Near Mobile, AL

Responsibilities:

  • Hire potential employees as needed and terminate staff as warranted. 
  • Supervise employees to ensure they are performing their job responsibilities.
  • Maintains employment records in accordance with personnel policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate new employee/annual training
  • Responsible for staffing issues and staff request/concerns
  • Document and file all written warnings in employee files
  • Complete Termination Letters and submit all unemployment claims.
  • Verify employment from other outside agencies, such has Housing Authority, Food Stamps, Apartments, Credit Agencies.
  • Communicate issues concerning Residents, homes, staff, etc. openly to all office staff and others as needed
  • Collaborate with office personnel concerning Individual’s medical appointments in order to secure staff within 24-48 hours prior to the appointment time.
  • Reviews employee work schedules to ensure staff is secured on all shifts and Over-time is used at a minimum. Make modifications as needed and file accordingly.
  • Submit copies to Administrator and office personnel and have a copy available for office staff to review.
  • Add and tally correctly all timesheets.
  • Hold telephone hearings concerning unemployment claims. Report/file all Workmen’s Comp claims
  • Answer the company phone
  • Be available to speak with staff 24/7 as needed.
  • Any one position may not include all of the duties listed nor does the listed include all tasks which may be found in positions of this class.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF WORK:

  • Arrive on time for work (Work Hours 8:00AM – 5:00PM Mon – Fri.)
  • Four year college Degree, preferred; however, other experience may be substituted
  • One year supervisory experience required
  • Some knowledge of and understanding people with Developmental Disabilities
  • Good knowledge of household management skills
  • Ability to impact directions and restraint. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff
  • Some knowledge of Microsoft Office

DRIVING AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have and maintain a valid state driver license. Position requires travel between Company sites as well as the community.
