Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable functions efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures

- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data

- Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits

- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted

- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, or other irregularities

- Investigate and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner

- Ability to communicate and work well with sales staff

Qualifications:

- Proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or a similar role

- Proficiency in AS400 software and MS Office (especially Excel)

- Knowledge of basic accounting principles

- Familiarity with financial software and systems

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Nice-to-have Skills:

- Understanding of accounts payable processes

- Experience in account analysis and reconciliation

- Proficient in 10-key typing for efficient data entry

- Excellent communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
