Sr. Infrastructure Administrator (Energetic and successful company, FTE, heading the Infra environment)

What will I be doing and who with?

• This Sr. Infrastructure Administrator will join the company and head up their entire Infrastructure stack – it’s definitely hands-on and also with formal leadership. Network (Ubiquiti), Security (MS Defender… configuring policies/alerts, response, monitoring access points), MS Exchange, Procurement (setting up software on laptops and setting up security groups, buying laptops, etc.).

• – this Sr. Infrastructure Administrator will have one direct report underneath them to help them drive the success of the company’s IT Infrastructure. There is a separate DevOps Engineering and Software Engineering teams. This person will report to the VP, Technology.

Autonomy and ownership – this Manager, Infrastructure will of course keep leadership abreast and updated; this is their baby though. They will be the primary POC of the infrastructure from a support perspective. It’s a team environment, folks will defer to this person.

Future in the role – this person will grow and the company will continue to do so too. This is down the line… if a role, though, in Management or Leadership is of interest, there will likely be a team built out (Helpdesk, for example) that this person would lead.
