Position Overview
As the Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for verifying conformance to Manufacturing and Warehouse Procedures, ensuring Nonin products meet expected customer requirements.
Essential Job Functions

• Quality Control of continuous in-line production and warehouse adherence to labeling, product workmanship, traceability, documentation, training etc.
• Inspect product per applicable Engineering Drawings and Manufacturing & Test Procedures.
• Generate Non-Confirming Material Reports (NCMR's).
• Conducting internal audits upon direction (i.e. calibration, pest controls etc).
• Utilizing ERP (AX).
• Participate in external audits advocating for Nonin (Customer, 3rd party, Regulatory).
• Updating of QC inspection checklists.
• Other activities and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 years of Inspection experience in a medical device environment

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to read, understand and interpret various prints, manufacturing & test procedures.
• Good mathematical ability and the ability to compute/count totals, averages, ranges.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with company personnel and auditors.
• Basic knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office, and related data entry experience.
• Understanding the importance of quality and the functions
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using associated measurement devices (microscope, caliper, laser scanner, etc).
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 regulations

Physical Requirements:

• Good dexterity, enabling use of various hand-held measurement devices if necessary.
• Good visual acuity and with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk throughout the shift.
