Noor Staffing Group is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Bronx, NY
A mission-driven Non-Profit organization based in The Bronx, NY is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will partner with the CFO and Directors in planning, organizing, directing, and enforcing all fiscal and administrative policies and procedures that the Bookkeeping must adhere to.
Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce accounting systems and general accounting principles.
Ensure that a proper accounting system is in place and financial statements are prepared on time.
Manage, monitor, supervise, and ensure that the Agency sustains a steady and stable cash flow.
Ensures proper billing and collections for home care services.
Ensure the effective oversight of the Agency’s cash flow, including accounts payables.
Manage, oversee, supervise, and ensure the effective oversight of the Agency’s payroll
processing and payments and billings.
Reviews financial statements and provides feedback and advice to the CFO and Executive Director
on matters of fiscal disbursement and decisions.
Generate and review management reports and discuss issues that require the Executive Director
and the Board’s intervention and decisions.
Prepare monthly financial statements.
Minimum Qualifications
Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance or Economics,
3 yrs. of full-time experience in public or private organizations in the management or supervision of financial functions and staff.
Experience with FUND-EZ, Passport and SOFA-Billing (State Office Agency
Demonstrate trustworthiness and discrete disposition in carrying out financial / accounting tasks.
