Multifamily Construction Project Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multifamily Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of our multifamily residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget, and exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the construction process, including budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and quality control.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are achieved.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or challenges that arise.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work in progress and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and implementing cost-saving measures when possible.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective sourcing.
- Communicate regularly with clients and project stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, leading by example and motivating team members to achieve excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on multifamily residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools, such as Procore, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical solutions to complex challenges.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability in all aspects of project execution.
