DAY IN THE LIFE:
The Procurement Agent (I) reports directly to the Manager of Procurement and will be responsible for supporting global sourcing strategies, negotiating agreements, documenting purchase contracts and other agreements, monitoring and engaging with suppliers on performance and improvement opportunities.
As a Procurement Agent (I), you will select suppliers for RFQ and purchase orders, document procurement decisions, analyze supplier bids, extract pertinent data and present such data to peers and leaders within N/E in a concise, accurate and professional manner, create contract correspondence and administer contract changes between N/E and its suppliers, ensure compliance with all relevant N/E procedures ad contract requirements, and integrate activities with internal and external customers and suppliers to fulfill contract requirements and reconcile contract issues. This position requires 10% travel (international and domestic) and communicating effectively with people in multiple countries and cultures.
