Nora's is seeking a dynamic Craft Mixologists with a passion for guest interaction to join our team.Job descriptionJob Title: Speakeasy Bartender / Server

Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and experienced bartender to serve guests in our underground Speakeasy Bar. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely and professional manner, while ensuring that guests have a positive and memorable experience. Most if not all shifts will be nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities During Speakeasy Shifts:

  • Mix and Serve Drinks: Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, custom drinks, and specialty concoctions that align with the speakeasy theme.
  • Craftsmanship and Attention to Detail: Pay meticulous attention to the quality, presentation, and consistency of each drink. Ensure that all cocktails are prepared according to the established recipes and standards, utilizing proper techniques and garnishes.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, anticipating their needs, and making personalized drink recommendations. Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that aligns with the speakeasy theme.
  • Knowledge of Spirits and Mixology: Possess an in-depth understanding of various spirits, liqueurs, and ingredients commonly used in cocktails. Stay updated on emerging mixology trends and techniques to provide a unique and innovative drink experience.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage the inventory of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that orders are placed in a timely manner. Follow proper procedures for storing, rotating, and organizing stock.
  • Bar Maintenance and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment. Adhere to hygiene and safety standards, including regular cleaning and sanitization practices.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate effectively with other bartenders, servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations. Communicate drink orders and special requests promptly and accurately.
  • Compliance with Regulations: Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements related to alcohol service and safety. Adhere to age verification procedures and responsible alcohol service guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of bartending experience.
  • Knowledge of various types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as proper mixingtechniques and presentation.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professionalmanner.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work both with team members and solo as needed.
  • Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and be currently TIPS certified

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects, such as kegs or cases of liquor
  • Must be ablet to bend, stoop, and reach overhead

Pay

  • The pay for this position will depend on experience and will range from $13 - $15 per hour. The job has potential for tips.

Weekly day range; Anticipated 1 - 3 Shifts / week totaling 8 - 20 hours.

  • Louisville, CO 80027: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
