Salary Range: $240,000 - $255,000 annual base salary

Locations: Chicago, IL | New York, NY | Washington, DC

Our client, an international business-focused law firm serving sophisticated clients of all sizes and industries from offices across the U.S. and in the UK and Asia, is looking for an Associate Investment Company Act Specialist for their Investment Services team to join either Chicago, New York, or Washington, DC.

If you have 4-6 years of experience with the Investment Company Act of 1940, we would like to hear from you.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 4-6 years with registered investment companies and investment advisers, with a focus on federal securities laws including the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933.
• Role Management: Ability to play a leading or key role in transactions, particularly related to investment company reorganizations or mergers.
• Multitasking: Proven ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
• Education: J.D. degree with strong academic credentials.
• Licensing: Admitted (and in good standing) or taking steps to become admitted in the applicable jurisdiction (Illinois, New York, or District of Columbia).
