Location: Hopkinsville, KY

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 yearly

Job Overview:

Our client a Precision metals manufacturer with Manufacturing plants in Europe and the US are currently looking for a Manufacturing Plant Manager.

We are seeking a dedicated Plant Manager to join our team and drive operational success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma, with a proven track record in leading teams and improving processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage all plant operations including production, maintenance, engineering, and quality.
  • Lead the plant's safety and culture initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
  • Employ lean manufacturing techniques to meet production goals and drive continuous improvement.
  • Resolve problems efficiently to improve working relationships and operational performance.
  • Oversee policies, procedures, and processes to minimize costs and maximize production efficiency.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing plans that increase profitability while reducing overhead.
  • Coordinate purchasing, production, quality, and distribution processes.
  • Implement new technologies and processes to build sustainable competitive advantages.
  • Champion health, environment, and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Prepare and maintain plant budgets, monitoring costs to meet budget goals.
  • Foster a culture of involvement, communication, mutual trust, respect, and a passion for excellence.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience as a Plant Manager in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in lean manufacturing/Six Sigma.
  • Experience in metals manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
