Nordquist Family Chiropractic & Integrated Medicine is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist/Assistant Near Puyallup, WA

Nordquist Integrated Medicine has been providing quality care to families since 2008. We are a high-volume clinic providing Chiropractic, X-ray, Rehab, Regenerative Medicine and ARNP services.

You’ll be joining a positive, fast-paced atmosphere and supportive team of medical professionals. This position will require you to be on your feet and sitting through out the day. You will be on high alert, making sure patients move through their treatment in a timely manner. While also handling phone calls and responding to texts. Being able to multi task and switch between tasks quickly is key for this position. You will be the only person manning the front with some support as needed. Our goal is to introduce you to the office, where you can learn all the different aspects that go into day-to-day operation as well as your specified duties. We are looking for someone who is reliable, timely, ambitious, great at multi tasking, hardworking, team oriented, empathetic and responsible. Someone with great communication skills and a positive attitude.

Hours

Monday - Thursday
8:30am - 6:00pm with an hour lunch
Friday
8:30am - 12pm

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact and welcoming face for our patients.
  • Communicate with patients via phone, text, and email.
  • Schedule appts, answer phones and any patient questions.
  • Coordinate with doctors and facilitate the flow of patient care
  • Send and receive faxes and referrals
  • Collect patient copays and payments
  • Keep a record of weekly appointment stats and be held accountable
  • Explain paperwork to patients and assist as needed
  • Review and scan files into electronic software
  • Verify insurance benefits and communicate them effectively with patients
  • Coordinate with doctor for marketing events and luncheons
  • Comprehensively understand the clinic and the services we provide in order to complete external marketing for roughly 4 hours a week. (by going to other clinics with brochures, flyers and goodies)
  • Track and manage external marketing, create marketing plans and relay all information to doctors.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • 2 years of experience in the medical field (Chiropractic experience preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an office setting with a customer service focus. (required)
  • Be able to type proficiently, at least 50 words per minute.
  • High School diploma or equivalent education.
  • Minimum 1 year of marketing experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Reliable, timely and positive.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
