We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or other specialized care needs. Your role will involve helping clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and promoting their independence.
Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Medication reminders per according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and social interactions
- Provide transportation for clients to appointments or outings
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Respect and uphold the rights of residents
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and dementia care is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and assisting with mobility
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
