Teachers plan curriculum and instruction, deliver effective instruction, manage classroom climate and operation, promote equity and meet their professional responsibilities in the classroom and school to which they are assigned. Their work is guided by the Professional Standards for Teachers promulgated by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and other applicable laws and regulations.
