Norman Regional Health System is Hiring a Clerk Laboratory Registrar - Porter- Evenings Near Norman, OK

Overview:

Responsibilities:

Performs all functions necessary to register outpatients and outreach patients.
Performs outpatient and outreach patient test order entry.
Compiles and audits for accuracy registration information and forwards to patient accounts and medical records.

Qualifications:

Education

High school education or equivalent GED required.
Requires some knowledge of medical terminology.
Skill in use of computers including word processing.

Experience

Requires six months customer service experience.
Experience as a phlebotomist may be substituted for Customer Service experience.
Prefer 1 year of experience in a medical setting

(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

Compensation/Benefits

$14.86-$24.27/hr depending on previous work experience.
