Departmental OverviewCompensation / Benefits
$13.21-$21.58/hr. depending on previous work experience.
Evening differential $1.50/hr.
Night differential $1.75/hr.
Weekend differential $1.75/hr.

The Flex Pool is made up of an adaptable and dynamic team of employees that is able to work in multiple service lines at all four NRHS campuses. These include Emergency departments, medical and cardiac intensive care units, medical and cardiac step down units, med/surg, ortho/neuro, oncology, and post-surgical units as well as the occasional special assignment that may include procedural areas. The Flex Pool is dedicated to providing exceptional care when and where needed throughout the organization. Job Summary
Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
QualificationsEducation
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Completion of a recognized patient care training program or one clinical semester of nursing school preferred.
Experience
Required to be at least 18 years of age.
Applicants must have a minimum of six (6) months of experience in a healthcare setting.
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for this requirement.
(The above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience). Licensure / Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
Current Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Advanced Unlicensed Assistant (AUA) certification preferred.
Training and competencies specific to a department may be required to be maintained during employment.
