Norman Regional Hospital Authority is Hiring a Transporter Near Norman, OK

Departmental Overview

Job Summary

  • Transports patients from one area of the hospital to another and distributes supplies and equipment.
  • Perform tasks to support the delivery of care by actively participating as an interdisciplinary care team member.

Qualifications

Education

High school education or equivalent.

Experience

Prefer experience providing customer service in transportation (or transport), clerical duties, and / or dispatching associated functions.

Requires general computer skills capable of utilizing health system's software programs.

Licensure / Certification

Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (American Heart Association Healthcare Provider) CPR acquired before or during new hire orientation.

Compensation / Benefits

  • $11.75-$19.18 / hr depending on previous work experience.
  • Benefits include medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, retirement plans, free parking, and opportunities for advancement.
