The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing and supporting all activities that typically occur in a warehouse such as receiving delivered goods, storage, inventory, operation of mechanical equipment, ordering, packing equipment for delivery, provide customer service etc.

What You'll Do

As a Warehouse Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Freight Handling: Move stock and materials by hand or using equipment such as a forklift
• Cargo Management: Receive, sort, and tag deliveries with identifying information
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service to both external and internal clients
• Order Fulfillment: Read and execute work orders efficiently
• Inventory Management: Keep inventory organized and maintain storage areas
• Documentation: Record units handled using daily production sheets or work tickets
• Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain warehouse equipment and machinery

• Computer Skills: Comfortable with computerized inventory systems and office software
• Educational Background: High school diploma or higher with at least one year of warehouse experience
• Forklift Operation: Forklift operator certification is required
• Physical Capability: Able to lift 50 lbs and perform tasks that involve bending, kneeling, reaching, and stooping
• Office Software Skills: Must be comfortable and familiar with computers and various office software applications for keeping track of stock and costs
• Work Schedule: Available to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Physical Requirements

• Heavy Lifting: Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly
• Equipment Operation: Comfortable operating heavy equipment and machinery
