The purpose of the position is to support informal individual and family caregivers through counseling and consultation, group facilitation, and providing internal and external resources and supportive services, among other duties.

Minimum requirements for the position include an active social work or public health degree/licensure (minimum of BSW) or combination of experience (MSW or MPH preferred). 5 years’ experience and focus on geriatrics, community health, aging or intergenerational family dynamics and a commitment to providing supportive services to seniors and family caregivers. Knowledge and experience of local healthcare delivery and healthy aging resource providers/systems in the nonprofit sector, are desired. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, boundary/privacy and emotional intelligence skills are required.
