A hotel housekeeper is responsible for ensuring rooms and other areas of a hotel are kept clean every day. If you are hardworking, dedicated, pleasant, and committed to high standards of customer service with attention to detail, we invite you to join our team.

A Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing a constant supply of clean linens for the entire hotel and banquet facilities.

***This position requires a pre-employment drug and background check***

The shift is 8:00AM - 4:30PM weekdays and weekends. Must be able to work 3-5 shifts per week as needed.

Laundry Attendant Responsibilities:

• Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding sheets, towels, tablecloths, and other textile items.
• Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures.
• Tracking items
• Cleaning & maintaining laundry room area and equipment.
• Loading laundry into commercial washers
• Unloading laundry from commercial dryers
• Operate the presser (large commercial iron machine)
• Ability to lift heavy bags of laundry and remain active throughout a normal shift.
• Keeping an updated inventory of laundry detergents
• Tracking maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment by advising management of any problems.
• Ensuring that the facility always remains clean.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Must be authorized to work in the Unites States.
• Must pass pre-employment background 
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferable.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Capacity to lift to 25 pounds unaided.
• Requires reaching, lifting, stretching, bending, walking, pushing, pulling and standing for long periods.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Personable disposition with a knack for customer service.
• Must have reliable transportation.
