Normandy is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near Rochester, NY
Small finance/mortgage company seeking staff accountant with rapid advancement potential to Assistant CFO. Duties include:
- Cash management
- Approve invoices
- Review daily and monthly financial reports
- Prepare quarterly/annual financial reports for state agencies, banks and NMLS
- Assist in preparation of state mortgage lending/servicing reports and audits
- Prepare/review tax and audit work papers for outside accounting firm
- Maintain personnel records, 401K, pension accounting
- Serve as backup for various accounting and mortgage loan servicing functions
Excellent office. Must have good credit. Base salary $60-70,000 with potential for substantial annual bonus, benefits (401K match, health insurance, paid holidays, vacation, sick time, pension). Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Four years’ relevant work experience. Training provided as needed. Proficient with Excel, and Word; experience with Quickbooks preferred. Four-day work week possible May-October. Applicants should include cover letter addressing why they are interested in this position and a possible four-day work week.
