Thursday Through Monday 9am-5pm Job TypeFull Time, Temp to Perm Job Summary:
The Accounting Specialist will provide general accounting support working with vendors and accounts payable as well as other areas within the Accounting Department.
This position's schedule is designed to be Thursdays through Mondays, allowing this role to provide support to office staff working at horse shows over the weekends.
Job DutiesCollect and review invoices from Independent Contractors providing horse show services such as judging, officiating, course design, and specialized show support
Collect and maintain W-9 forms
Receive expense reports, tabulate and review receipts prior to presenting for approvals
Review I/C contracts
Point of contact for horse show office staff on weekend
Provide support to the Accounting Department as needed
RequirementsExperience with accounts payable and payment processing
Good Excel skills
Experience working as an Accounting Clerk
Good computer skills with the ability to adapt to industry-specific software
Able to work independently
Self directed but intuitive enough to know when to ask questions
