Primary Responsibilities
- Works with team members, product managers and senior management to develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents that includes the scope, schedule, budgets, goals, and other deliverables
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from project approval to project closure
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
- Plan, schedule and track project timelines, deliverables and milestones using appropriate tools
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, presentations and critical issues lists
- Review the content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development.
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP®) highly desirable
- Strong familiarity with tools, such as Microsoft Project and PLM systems
- Persuasive and proactive individual with strong ability to adapt during times of change
- Ability to effectively communication with team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast pace environment
- Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to communicate effectively on the telephone and in person;
- Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to review documents and file them in a prescribed order, and organize documents and materials;
- Sufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to frequently operate a personal computer (estimated 50%-70% of the typical workday) and other office equipment;
- Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to work in an office setting and at a keyboard for an extended period of time, considered to be approximately 50%-70% of the workday.
