Overview of Job Description
North American Properties is seeking a highly motivated, innovative, and energetic individual to manage all social media platforms and digital content for Avalon and Avenue East Cobb.
As the Social Media Coordinator, you will oversee all aspects of Avalon and Avenue East Cobb’s day-to-day social media efforts relevant to retailer and guest engagement along with maintaining and growing both properties’ robust online community designed to build awareness and drive traffic & sales.
This position acts as the frontline brand “voice” by interacting with guests and fans in real-time on various web platforms. In this role, you will not only create content and tell Avalon’s and Avenue East Cobb’s brand stories, but also provide digital support as it relates to web, SEO, and property assets and technology. The right candidate will possess excellent verbal and writing skills, the ability to work in cross-functional teams, a sharp wit, and a willingness to work during nonstandard business hours. Prior experience in customer service, social media management, public relations, and/or digital marketing is preferred. This position is split between Avalon and Avenue East Cobb and will office at both Property Management offices and will report to the Avalon and Avenue East Cobb Marketing Managers.

The Social Media Coordinator serves as a critical member of the team for the property and is therefore expected to interact with internal and external contacts daily. The Social Media Coordinator must be deadline-driven, detail- oriented and a team player with a positive attitude who demonstrates flexibility. Responsibilities may require an adjusted work schedule, overtime and working evening and weekend hours to meet objectives and deadlines. NAP upholds a professional and deadline-oriented working environment, offering a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere where all associates are given the opportunity to learn and grow.
