Job Description:

Our cardiology practice is seeking a skilled and compassionate PA or ACNP to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in cardiology and be committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists.
• Monitor and manage chronic cardiovascular conditions, including hypertension, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as ECGs, stress tests, and echocardiograms.
• Provide patient education on cardiovascular health, lifestyle modifications, and medication management.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, including primary care physicians and specialists.
• Participate in cardiology research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in Georgia.
• Certification from an accredited PA or ACNP program.
• Previous experience in cardiology is preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiovascular diseases and treatments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
