Marketing Project Manager and Content Writer

Position Purpose
This position is responsible for an efficient and effective work flow process in the marketing department. From initiation to completion the project manager is in charge of team communication, maintaining project timelines, and ensuring high quality results. Additionally, they provide content writing and proofreading. They also assist the marketing department with administrative tasks. This role is vitally important to the department functioning like a well-oiled machine.
Description
(50%) Project Management
* Meets with internal and external clients about projects
* Communicates team responsibilities per project
* Tracks project progress and timelines through Basecamp
* Manages team members' project loads
* Communicates with stakeholders about costs, project changes, etc
* Creates and delivers project reports
(25%) Administrative
* Assists Director of Marketing with various project research/ other needs
* Pays invoices/ allocates & tracks purchase card expenses at end of month
* Take minutes for attended meetings
(25%) Content Writing
* Write blogs, new releases, emails, and other communicaitons as needed
* Builds communication plans
* Provides proofreading for internal departments
* Owner of the campus written communication guidelines
Job Qualifications:
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field required. Experience in project management required.
CAPM or PMP certification preferred.

* Ability to track and maintain multiple projects at once
* Highly skilled at communication
* Extremely detailed-oriented to ensure project needs are not overlooked
* Is a self-motivated, independent worker, yet values collaboration
* Highly motivated and committed to continuous learning
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and organizational skills
