Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers in documenting patient medical histories, physical examinations, and treatment plans.
- Accurately transcribe medical information into electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Prepare and organize medical charts for appointments and procedures.
- Communicate with patients to gather additional information or clarify medical details. - Set up, stock and clean exam rooms - Phone triage - Process medication refills
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant required. - Will provide on the job training for scribe position.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with EHR systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work as a team player.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
